Before I was a mother and wife (yes, in that order), I loved cooking. It's one of the last vestiges of my old life that I've been able to fit into my new one. I've prepared for busy couples in a kitchen the size of a coat closet, catered cocktail parties for 125 but none of them could have prepared me for the challenge of feeding a family. Let's face it, when you're single, you can eat a bowl of cereal if you're too tired to cook. With children, food is around every corner. There's breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks. Rather than dread these moments in the kitchen, use I'm challenging you to use them as time to bond, discover new foods together and most importantly, raise children with brave palates, willing to try even the greenest of vegetables without them being hidden in a brownie.
Join me at the family table for good food and great conversation. I'll show you how easy it is...one recipe at a time.
