Lovely cake! Just made a donation. Great cause, it's great that you're doing this. Hope to add something to the cookie jar this weekend :)

Amanda

Chocolate and orange in the same sentence = Heaven :)

Maria

Your cake looks lovely and I bet it tastes amazing too:)

I'm curious about this line. Was "teaspoons" a typo? If not, what does it mean?

"Pinch freshly grated teaspoons nutmeg"

Jennifer

Total typo Virginia—it's just a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg and has been corrected. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

How was the event??? Did you win? Were they impressed w/ your cake? I'm bummed I didn't go... I was too afraid that I wouldn't feel well enough at this point to travel. I WISH I WERE THERE! Hope you had a grand time :)
