I first "met" Alice from Savory Sweet Life over flank steak. I tweeted about needing a marinade recipe for dinner that night and Alice sent me a link for her Korean BBQ Shortrib recipe, sure that it would work well with flank too. I had most of the ingredients on hand and on first-read the recipe sounded so good. Since dinner was in a few hours, I skipped the overnight marinade, but Alice was confident it would be enough time to absorb the powerful flavors. She was right and my husband still talks about that flank steak.
